Loren Elmo Sanders

Loren Sanders, 70, of Waite Park, formerly of Willmar, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at his home in Waite Park. His funeral services is at 1:00 pm, Wednesday,  March 27th at Eagle Lake Lutheran Church in Willmar. Visitation will be one hour prior to his service. Burial will be at Hope Lutheran Cemetery in Sunburg. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar.

Loren Elmo Sanders was born on December 3, 1953, to Elmo and Marie Sanders.  He was baptized and confirmed at West Norway Lake Lutheran Church at Sunburg.  He took mechanics training at Willmar Vocational Technical School and was employed by MNDOT for several years.  Loren loved woodworking and restoring furniture and working on motors. He enjoyed singing in the church choir.

Loren is survived by a sister: Marcia (Dale) Huska; two nephews: Nicholas Huska and Micah (Hannah) Huska; a niece: Brittany (Tim) Chavez; girlfriend: Kim Stringfellow; and three great-nephews and three great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
