Barbara Lee (Johnson) Raetzman

Barbara Lee Raetzman, 85, of Willmar, died Monday, July 1st at her home. Born and raised in Hopkins, Minn., Barbara lived throughout the Midwest as an adult.  Wherever she was, Barbara loved to read the Sunday New York Times, especially the colorful obituaries. Whether on paper or in person, meeting new people, asking questions and learning their stories filled her curious nature. Rather than an obituary of places and dates, please join us in celebrating Barbara’s life with your stories and ours at a memorial service on Saturday, July 13th, at 1:00 PM at Bethel Lutheran Church in Willmar with visitation one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial to Midwest Pug Rescue, www.mnmidwestpugrescue.wildapricot.org, Rice Hospice, www.carrishealth.org or Bethel Lutheran Church, www.Bethelinwillmar.org. Barbara is forever loved by Amanda Lee Raetzman (and Joel Schmidt), Jonathan Raetzman, Amanda Lynn Raetzman, Sara Raetzman and Samantha Raetzman.
