Brenda was born October 3, 1970, in Willmar, the daughter of Darrell and Mary (Sussner) Fostervold. Brenda was baptized at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church on October 18, 1970 and confirmed at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in 1987. She attended Whittier School in Kandiyohi, Jefferson Elementary School in Willmar and graduated from Willmar High School in 1989. She then attended Willmar Community College earning an Associate of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts in 1991. She continued her education at St. Cloud State University earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elective Studies in 1997.
On March 4, 2000, she was united in marriage to Troy Reynolds at Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Kandiyohi. They were blessed with three wonderful children: Taggert, Jorja and Jenna. She was never more proud or happier than when she was with her family attending activities or just spending time with them enjoying life!
Attending basketball games, football games, riding horse and sitting by the campfire were always things that brought a smile to Brenda’s face. Growing up, she was the one always willing to do the chores around the farm and that led to her passion for horses. Brenda and Troy moved their family to the country in 2017 to be able to spend more time with their horses and animals. Her ability to connect with teenagers was amazing as they were always welcomed into her home. Her sense of humor, determination, strength, and perseverance is an inspiration to all. Her unending love of life assured her family, especially Troy, to keep the faith that no matter what life dealt them, it would all be okay.
Surviving are her husband, Troy; son, Taggert and daughter, Jorja all of Spicer; father and mother, Darrell and Mary Fostervold of Kandiyohi; sister, Cheryl (and Damon) Pearce of Wethersfield, CT; brother, Ryan (and Dawn) Fostervold of Kandiyohi; in-laws, Larry Reynolds of Atwater and Ione Reynolds of Wheaton as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jenna Reynolds, on July 18, 2018.
