Clarence E. Rousslang, 75 of Sauk Centre, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Elrosa. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery in Padua. Arrangements are with the Johnson Funeral Home in Belgrade.
Clarence Edward Rousslang was born on August 10, 1944 in Sauk Centre. He was the second child of Jack and Celestine "Sally" (Gruber) Rousslang. He attended country school in Padua and helped on the family farm. From 1963-1967, Clarence trained in the National Guards. On August 9, 1974, he was united in marriage to Vickie Wallace at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Clarence took over the family farm where he enjoyed every aspect of farming. He enjoyed his collection of John Deere two cylinder tractors, raising his beef cattle and hauling livestock for local farmers. He had a passion for farming. He loved his family and especially the time he got to spend with his grandkids.
Clarence will be deeply missed by his wife, Vickie Rousslang of Sauk Centre; daughter, Dr. Nancy (Jon) Randall of Sauk Centre; son, Peter Rousslang (Jessica Hill) of Sauk Centre; grandkids, Jayden (12) and Aubree (10) Randall and Devin Hill (21); brother, Richard (Darlene) Rousslang of Sauk Centre and sister, Darlene Marthaler of Sauk Centre.
Clarence was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Sally (Gruber) Rousslang; brother- in-law, Alex Marthaler; sister-in-law Julie Ball and aunts and uncles.
