Edith Ann Christiansen

Edith Ann Christiansen, age 75, passed away at St Cloud Hospital on January 17, 2019. A celebration of life with burial will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at Burbank Cemetery on Highway 71, rural New London, with a reception to follow at Living Word Lutheran Church in New London.

Edith was born July 13, 1943, to Myron and Grace (Goodall) Christiansen.  She grew up on the family farm north of New London and attended Windy Hill Grade School.  Edith loved animals, raised rabbits and enjoyed shopping and crocheting.  When eating out, her favorite food was shrimp.  She loved being with her brothers, their wives, nieces, nephews and friends.

Surviving are her  brothers:  Carol (Norma) Christiansen of Palmer, AK; Evan (Ruby) Christiansen of Eagan; Lars (Jackie) Christiansen of Eden Prairie; Wayne (Suzanne) Christiansen of Big Lake, AK and Vern (Zaida) Christiansen of Durado, Puerto Rico.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents, Myron and Grace, and her brother and sister-in-law,  Oscar (and Marcia) Christiansen.
