Manuel Del Bosque, 73, of Raymond, died Saturday, October 19 at Bethesda Grand in Willmar. His funeral service will be 11:00 am, Thursday at Assembly of God in Willmar. Visitation will be one hour prior to his service. Burial will be in Clover Leaf Cemetery in Willmar. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar. www.hafh.org
Manuel Del Bosque was born in Mathis, Texas on September 14, 1946, to Lalo Del Bosque and Louisa Lopez Garcia. He attended Mathis High School. Manuel was united in marriage to Emila Mena in 1976. To this union six children were born. They continued to live in Mathis until they moved to Minnesota in 1988. Manuel started working as a seasonal farmer and was employed by Don Nelson and later Michael Bulthius. He continued to work as a seasonal farmer for 25 years. Manuel enjoyed going to the casino, fishing and playing his guitar. He was a loving husband, dad, grandpa and brother.
Manuel is survived by his wife, Emelia; children: Manuel Del Bosque Jr., Irene Del Bosque, Anna Marie Mares, Danny Del Bosque, Christy Sanchez, and Bernie Del Bosque; 22 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Jesus Garcia, Janie Del Bosque, Julia Del Bosque, Joel Del Bosque, and Jorge Del Bosque.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Jaime, Jessie and Javier.
