Regina Felling

Regina Felling, 95 of Elrosa, died Monday, September 30, 2019 at CentraCare Health in Sauk Centre.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m Saturday, October 19, 2019 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Elrosa.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.                                                                                                                                              

Regina Gertrude Felling was born on April 11, 1924 in Elrosa the daughter of Edward and Anna (Woeste) Weinmann.  She attended country grade school in Spring Hill.  On October 17, 1944, she was united in marriage to Walter Felling at St. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church.  This union was blessed with one son, Rick.  They made their home near Elrosa where they farmed until 1978, when Rick took over the farm and they moved into Elrosa.  They shared in 37 years of marriage before Walter’s death on October 25, 1981. Regina moved into CentraCare Health in Sauk Centre in 2016.

Regina was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Elrosa where she was active in Christian Mothers. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo and watching game shows on tv.   

Regina  is survived by daughter-in-law, Mona (Dennis) Bertram of Belgrade; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and siblings, Jerry (Bertha) Weinmann and Alice and (Norbert) Schmitz.  She was preceded in death by husband, Walter; son, Rick; parents; and siblings, Annie, Albert, Lewina, Delores, George and Joe.
