Trudy Ann Wandersee, 75, of Willmar, died surrounded by her family and lifelong friend on Sunday, February 24th at her home. Her funeral service will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 2nd at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar. Visitation will be one hour prior to her service. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery in St. Anthony. www.hafh.org
Trudy Ann Wandersee was born to Lee Lester and Elizabeth Marie (Risch) Morgan on January 14, 1944, in Minneapolis. She attended Minneapolis Public Schools and later graduated from Columbia Heights in 1981. Trudy had six children: Jeffrey, Joel, Dwayne, Jodi, Carrie and Kelly; who she loved dearly. She moved to Willmar and Managed the Dairy Queen where she worked for 12 years. In 1987, Trudy met David Wandersee and on April 18, 1992, they were united in marriage. They made their home in Willmar. Trudy enjoyed crossword puzzles, board games, dancing and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling, taking several trips to Hawaii and visiting friends in Wisconsin. She was a loving wife, mom, grandma and friend.
Trudy is survived by her husband, David; children: Dwayne Richards, Jodi Kullhem, and Kelly (Steve) Kurtzweg; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and siblings: Sharon (Bob) Paxls of Tucson, Arizona, Linda Morgan of Anchorage, AK, and Darrell (Penny) Morgan of Atlanta, GA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sons: Jeffrey Richards, Joel Richards; daughter, Carrie Miers; sisters: Shirley Anderson and Inez Raska Krueger.
