Victoria L. Eisenbeisz, 89, of Willmar, died Wednesday, June 19th at Bethesda Club Suites in Willmar. Her funeral will be 10:00 am, Friday, June 21st at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Willmar with burial in St. John’s Cemetery in Bowdle, SD. Visitation will be from 9:00 – 10:00 am at the church on Friday. Funeral arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home.
Victoria was born on October 6, 1929, in Willmar, Minnesota, the daughter of Jalla and Jennie (DeVries) Ruter. She grew up in Willmar and attended Willmar high school. She moved to Minneapolis to get a job where she met Albert Eisenbeisz. They were united in marriage on June 27, 1948. They lived in Minneapolis, Seattle, WA, New Hope and eventually settled in Vero Beach, FL after they retired in 1988. After Albert died in 2009, Victoria returned to Willmar.
For over 30 years Victoria worked as a technician at the Honeywell Aerospace Plant in St. Louis Park. She enjoyed the challenging work and was especially proud to know that the electronics she worked on ended up on the space shuttle.
Surviving are her sister, Rose (Duaine) Nelson of Willmar and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Besides her husband, Albert, she was preceded in death by her parents Jalla and Jennie (DeVries) Ruter, and siblings, Fannie Orsten, Kate Johnson, Minnie Bjork, Martha Reigstad, Ann Reigstad, Ella Ruter, Jeraldine Pates, Edwin Ruter, George Ruter, Martin Ruter, Henry Ruter, Lewis Ruter, and infant baby.
