Andy Lynn Jaeger, 59, of Atwater, died Monday, May 4th at St. Cloud Hospital. His memorial service will be at 1:00 pm, Friday, May 15th at Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Benson City Cemetery. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson & Johnson Funeral Home in Willmar, www.hafh.org
Andy Lynn Jaeger was born on August 16, 1966, in Benson to DuWayne and Delores (Bailey) Jaeger. He was baptized and later confirmed at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. Andy attended school in Benson and graduated with the Class of 1985. He later continued his education at Willmar Vo-Tech, where he studied carpentry.
Following his schooling, Andy held several jobs throughout the years, including working at Jennie-O, serving as Head of Security at the Holiday Inn, working at Sandy’s Café in Benson and most recently at the Benson Bakery and running his outdoor business.
Andy was blessed with a son, Zachary, who was the pride and joy of his life. Together they shared many special memories hunting, fishing, and camping. Andy also enjoyed collecting coins, beer steins, painted plates, and cast iron tractors. In his free time, he liked hosting yard sales, visiting the casino, and playing video games.
Andy is survived by his son, Zachary (Brittany) Jaeger and their children: Raymond, Jasmine, DuWayne, Isabella, and Sabrina. He is also survived by his siblings: Becky (Ken) Halverson, Wayne (Diane) Jaeger and Todd (Teresa) Jaeger; aunt and uncle, Ron and Bonnie Jaeger; he is survived by his nieces and nephews; Joe Mast, Nathan Mast, Kristi Baker, Brandon Jaeger, Nick Jaeger and Alison Moser.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, DuWayne Jaeger Jr., and nephew: Benjamin Mast.
