Barbara Christine (Coleman) Grajeda

Barbara Christine Grajeda, 79, of Elrosa, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at her home. Private family services will be held. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson & Johnson Funeral Home, Belgrade.

Barbara was born August 29, 1946, in Quincy, Massachusetts, the daughter of George and Mary (Foley) Coleman. She grew up in several states as the family relocated, eventually settling in Florida and then California. She graduated from Verdugo Hills High School in California.

In 1971, Barbara married Richard Balasko, and they made their home in the Los Angeles area. One daughter, Danielle, was born to their marriage. They later divorced. In 1994, she married Sergio Grajeda, and the couple lived in several locations where Sergio was stationed with the U.S. Navy, including Hawaii; Okinawa; Corpus Christi, Texas; and San Diego, California. Following her divorce from Sergio, Barbara moved to Minnesota to be closer to her sisters.

Barbara had a deep love for dogs, enjoyed visiting airplanes on the naval base, and cherished the many trips she took to Disneyland with Danielle during her childhood.  Her favorite Disney character was Donald Duck and she could even talk like him.

She is survived by her daughter, Danielle (Joseph) Kidwell; four grandchildren, Dylan (Ally) Potter, Cameron Pace, Matthew Kidwell, and Christopher Kidwell; her sisters, Carol Smith, Brenda Mohr, and Debra (Michael) Fazzi; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
