Bradley Charles Kneisl

Bradley Kneisl, 31 of Paynesville, died Tuesday, November 23, near Baldwin, Wisconsin, from complications suffered in an electrocution accident on May 24th while cutting trees in Clarkfield.

His memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 2, at Living Hope Evangelical Free Church in Willmar and will be streamed at https://subspla.sh/t89qz6m. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.

Bradley Charles Kneisl was born September 5, 1990, in Willmar, Minnesota, to Richard and Debra (Epema) Kneisl. He grew up in the Kerkhoven area, and graduated from KMS High School in 2009. While in high school he was active in football and wrestling, and enjoyed working in the preschool classroom. Following graduation, Brad continued to work on dairy farms in the Kerkhoven and Sunburg area. Brad worked for Quam Construction, Pete’s Welding, and Hurley’s Tree Service. Then in 2018, he started Brad’s Tree Service.  His hard work and dedication helped him develop a very successful business, one that he thoroughly enjoyed and took pride in. On September 15, 2018, he married Kelsey Stommes in Cold Spring and they made their home in Paynesville.

Brad enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether it was fishing, hunting, riding horses or working. He took many hunting trips out of state, but always found his way back to Baldwin, a place he held near to his heart. He also loved animals, especially his three dogs: Berta, Hades, and Hubert. Brad will be remembered most by others for his great sense of humor, perfectly timed one-liners and being a best friend to many. He was a man who would give the shirt off his back, and at the drop of a hat, would help anyone when they needed it. Brad loved being an uncle to his nieces and nephews, but his greatest joy was being a dad to Braelyn. He was an amazing father, and truly loved spending as much time with her as possible. He found ways to make simple things fun and memorable for her. He used his time with her as learning opportunities where his patient nature was clearly evident. He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.

He is survived by his wife: Kelsey; his daughter: Braelyn; his parents: Dick and Deb Kneisl; brother: Gary (Holly) Kneisl and their children, Brook, Jayden and Charlie; sister: Kristi (Paul) Schmidt and their children, Abel and Greta; and his maternal grandparents: Merle and Rose Epema. Also surviving are his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Roger and Karen Stommes; sister-in-law: Brooke (Aaron) Kleinschmidt and their children, Cohen, Sawyer, Grayson, and Kyler; two brothers-in-law: Brandon Stommes and Justin Stommes; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Chuck and Carolyn Kneisl.

Brad’s family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and donations following his accident. Donations given will be put toward a trust for his daughter, Braelyn.
