Bridget Lemke, 63, of Willmar, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026, at CentraCare Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar following a short battle with cancer. Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m., followed by a 6:00 p.m. memorial service on Wednesday, June 24, at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar. The service can be viewed online at https://my.gather.app/remember/bridget-lemke.
Bridget was born August 29, 1962, in Olivia, Minnesota, to Bernard and Ida (Collier) Brown. She grew up in Olivia, attended St. Aloysius Catholic School and graduated from Olivia High School in 1980. She then attended Willmar Community College.
On February 14, 1986, Bridget was united in marriage to Perry Lemke in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Three children, Mickala, Michael, and Mitchell, were born to their marriage. They made their home in Willmar. Bridget worked at Divine House and Bethesda, where she was a compassionate caregiver to her clients, especially individuals with disabilities and those suffering from memory loss.
Bridget had a strong faith, a warm heart, and never passed up an opportunity to give a hug. She enjoyed bowling, reading, watching her favorite television shows, spending time outdoors with her flowers, and riding along on the golf cart with Perry and her boys while they golfed. She also dearly loved her dogs, Toby and Layla. Above all, Bridget cherished time with her family and adored her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Perry Lemke; three children, Mickala (Michael) Elliot of Olivia, Michael (Brianna) Lemke of Willmar, and Mitchell Lemke of Willmar; six grandchildren, Aubriauna, Tayte, Avayah, Braylah, Aidan, and Renesmee; and five siblings, Tom, Maxine, Pat, Dave, and Marion. She is also survived by many others whom she treated like her own children, including her bonus daughters and many of her children's friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and four siblings, Elmer, Anna, Bernard, and Barbara.
