Charles Zeiner, age 60, of Willmar, died Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Carris Health Care Center in Willmar.
A visitation for Charles will be held 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, April, 28, Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar. A celebration his life will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, May 1, at Centennial Park in Worthington.
Charles Lee Zeiner was born December 15, 1960, in Worthington, Minnesota, the son of Phillip and Arlene (Flatebo) Zeiner. He grew up and received his education in Worthington, graduating from Worthington High School in 1978. He then began working at the Armour pork plant in Worthington. In 1985, he married Jonna Reller and they lived in Worthington and Iowa. In 1994, they moved to Willmar, where Charles worked at Steffl Drilling and West Central Sanitation, driving truck, and most recently, at Nelson International. Charles was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Willmar Area Shrine Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife: Jonna Zeiner of Willmar; two children: Chad Zeiner of Raymond and Chelsea Zeiner of Willmar; five grandchildren: Lily Mae, Oaklee, Farrah, Ella, and Eli; his mother: Arlene Zeiner of Willmar; and siblings: Johnny Zeiner of Sioux Falls, SD, Gale (and Russ) Kurtenback of Parkston, SD, Valerie Veen of Ellsworth, and Butch (and Debbie) Zeiner of New London. He was preceded in death by his father.
