Cheryl L (Wadsworth) Kostreba

Cheryl Lanae Kostreba, 78, of Inverness, Florida, died Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at VITAS Inpatient Hospice Care in Lecanto, FL. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2026 at the Johnson Funeral Home in New London.  Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in New London.                  

Cheryl was born May 14, 1947, in Willmar, Minnesota, the daughter of Lemuel (Kelly) and Gladys (Bjork) Wadsworth. She graduated from New London-Spicer High School.

On September 29, 1973, she was united in marriage to Ron Kostreba. Ron and Cheryl owned and managed Kostreba Appliance Service Center in the St. Cloud area for many years until they moved to Summerdale, AL and later to Inverness, FL. They were members of Victory Baptist Church in Inverness.  John 3:16 and Revelations 3:20 were special verses to her.

Cheryl enjoyed traveling, entertaining, living by water, observing wildlife, decorating and cooking. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ron, on April 26, 2025; her parents; brothers, Larry and Sherne; niece, Kim Hazledine; great-niece, Kelli Hazledine and great-nephew, Craig Hazledine. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
