Christina Eloiza Castillo was born on May 3, 1988, at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, Minnesota to Cesar Flores and Rachel Castillo. She grew up in the Willmar community and attended the Willmar Public School.
Tina was a great mother to her three kids, Isaac Casillas, Amiya Castillo, and Andrew Castillo. She explored many careers and worked countless hours to provide for her family. She was a hardworking, single mother that did a phenomenal job loving and supporting her children. Tina’s children were her most prized possession, that she loved endlessly and was so proud to be called their mother.
Christina was a person who embraced the love that she had for herself daily and always smiling, dressing to impress, keeping her makeup done to show off the strong confidence that she had for herself letting the world know that nothing can break that beautiful smile. Tina was very loving and caring. She would give anything to make sure that everyone around her was okay, that’s why her laughter and jokes couldn’t be overlooked. So many things to describe her bubbly loving soul but when you think of strength always remember her because we are talking about a woman who never gave up no matter how many obstacles she was faced with as she fought through everyone and always came out on top with that pretty smile of hers. Tina loved to spend time with family and friends, play board games, Bridget’s pumpkin bars. She loved to collect shoes and keep up with fashion. She loved having family cookouts, and cooking at home. She loved art and creativity by expressing it through her tattoos. Tina had a super energetic and positive personality. Her personality was contagious and she always knew how to make everyone around her smile and laugh. Tina was the light in a lot of people’s lives, some may even say she was an unpaid therapist. She grew very strong bonds with those around her, and always found a way to comfort those by her side.
She is survived by her three children, Isaac Casillas, Amiya Castillo, Andrew Castillo; her parents, Rachel Castillo and Cesar Flores; eight siblings and many more loved family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother: Ana Flores and Eloisa O. Castillo, grandpa, Guadalupe Castillo, uncles, Francisco Lugardo, Luis Flores, Jesus and Johnny Rodriguez, and cousins, Jason Rodriguez and Ayla Bautista.
