Corrine R. (Olson) Wehseler

Corrine R. Wehseler, 96 of Belgrade, died Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood.  Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Grace Lutheran Church in Belgrade.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will be in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Cemetery in Belgrade.  Arrangements are with the Johnson Funeral Home in Belgrade.  

Corrine Ruth (Olson) Wehseler was born on January 19, 1926 in Harrison Township near Spicer, the daughter of Leland and Ruth (Brown) Olson.  She was baptized and confirmed at Harrison Presbyterian Church. She attended Belgrade High School, graduating in 1945.  On August 16, 1952, Corrine was united in marriage to Alois (Al) Wehseler in Belgrade.  They made their home in Belgrade where she worked for Maher’s Department Store, Gordhammer Meat Market and Belgrade High School as a Kitchen Aide.  Corrine and Al were able to share in 40 years of marriage before his death in August of 1991.

Corrine was a member of Grace Lutheran Church where she was active in the Rachel Circle.  She enjoyed playing cards and flower gardening.

Corrine died on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood at the age of 96.  She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews; great-nieces and nephews; great-great-nieces and nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by two brothers; Robert L/John E Olson, two sisters-in-law, Marge/Doris Olson, two nieces and one nephew.
