Craig Donald Danielson

Craig Donald Danielson, 65, of Willmar, died Friday, November 10, 2023, at CentraCare Rice Hospital. A celebration of Craig's life will be 2:00-4:00 Friday, December 15, at Centennial Square in Willmar. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar, www.hafh.org 

Craig was born July 8, 1958, in Benson, Minnesota, the son of Donald and Elaine (Fransen) Danielson.  His family later moved near Pennock and in 1962 to Mankato, where he attended Mankato Public Schools.  He worked as a cook at several restaurants in the Mankato area.  In the early 1990s, he moved to the Willmar area and worked at Gurley's Foods.

Craig enjoyed music, watching the Twins, fishing and camping in the Boundary Waters.

He is survived by his siblings: Marla (Larry) Westlund of Mankato, MN and David (Dawn) Danielson of Garden City, MN; three nieces: Lisa Westlund (Greg Klevos), Jasmine Mumuni; and Lindsey (Dara) Friesen; and his grandnieces and nephews: Alaina Westlund, Payton Klevos and Diondre Solis Friesen.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a nephew: Brett Westlund.
