Darlene Mae Anderson

Darlene Mae Anderson, 78, of Willmar, died Friday, October 11th at Bethesda Grand in Willmar.  Her funeral will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, October 17th at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar with interment in Hector City Cemetery.  www.hafh.org

Darlene was born November 4, 1945, in Hutchinson, MN, the daughter of Oliver and Mildred (Johnson) Anderson.  She grew up in Hector where she graduated from high school.  After moving to Willmar, Darlene worked at West Central Industries.

Darlene enjoyed doing embroidery and other needlework, jig saw puzzles and playing Bingo.  One of her proudest and happiest times in life was when she finally got her first job and moved into her own apartment.  Darlene wanted to be remembered for her care and concern for others!

She is survived by her friends and caregivers throughout her life who loved her and supported her.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
