Deborah Ann Erickson

Deborah “Debbi” Ann Erickson, 58, of Willmar, died peacefully surrounded by her fiancé and siblings in the care of Cura of Willmar and Moments Hospice on Monday, May 19, 2025. Deborah Ann Erickson was born May 15, 1967, to David and Karen (Dickhoff) Erickson in Willmar. She was baptized at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and later confirmed from Immanuel Lutheran Church in Starbuck. Debbi attended elementary school in Starbuck and graduated from Alexandria High School in 1985. Following high school, Debbi started working in the restaurant industry in Willmar and also Marshall before working as the Deli assistant at Cub Foods in Willmar. She enjoyed watching cooking shows, cooking, visiting with friends and also enjoyed art projects. In 2017, Debbi met the love of her life, Michael Gislason. Together they had eight wonderful years.

Debbi is survived by her fiancé, Michael Gislason of Willmar; siblings: Carol Iverson of Milroy, Jerome (Tammy) Erickson of Willmar and Alana (Dean) Razink of Farwell; she is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Debbi was preceded in death by her father, David Erickson; mother, Karen Meyer step-father, Donald Meyer; grandparents, brother-in-law, Byron Iverson; and niece, Kayla Erickson.
