Diana Lynn Knowlen

Diana L. Knowlen 58, of Moorhead, died June 1, 2021, at the Sanford Medical Center in Fargo.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  A visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church.  Services are entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home in New London.  

Diana Lynn Knowlen was born in North Sacramento, CA, the daughter of George and Mable (Howe) Knowlen. She grew up in Sacramento where she attended high school.  After high school, Diana traveled experiencing many places and things where she met many people making a difference everywhere she stopped.  Diana loved talking with people and telling jokes, she had a kind heart and was fun to be around.  She enjoyed camping and picnicking with her family and spending time with her nieces and nephews.  She also loved being around animals especially cats and dogs.

Diana is survived by her siblings:  Bernadette (Harold) Nelson of New London, Catherine (Robert) Lounsbury of Litchfield, Raymond (Bonnie) Morford of St. Cloud, George (Janice) Knowlen of New London, Timothy Knowlen of Paynesville, Daniel (Becky) Knowlen of St. Cloud and Simon Knowlen of St. Cloud.  She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. 

Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Brother, Lyle Knowlen, William Knowlen, and David Knowlen; sisters, MaryAnn Cuevas, Connie Streling, and Judy Knowlen; and brother-in-law, Albert Streling Jr.
