Dianne K. Larcom, 69, of Willmar, formerly of Kandiyohi, died Saturday, September 12th at St. Cloud Hospital. Her funeral service will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 16th at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 pm, Tuesday at the funeral home and continue one hour prior to her service. Burial will be in Green Lake Lutheran Cemetery, rural Spicer. Dianne Kathleen Larcom was born to Virgil and Lucille (Bratland) Magnuson on November 9, 1950, in Willmar. She grew up in Kandiyohi where she attended Whittier School through 8th grade. She then attended Willmar High School where she graduated with The Class of 1968. On May 8, 1971, Dianne married Ronnie Larcom at First Presbyterian Church in Willmar. To this union three children were born: Stephanie, Brent and Joshua. They lived in Kandiyohi where Dianne worked as an in-home daycare provider. She eventually worked at Burger King briefly before working at Cash Wise, a job that she had for 20 years. Dianne enjoyed ceramics, sewing, Bingo, baking, and canning. She especially enjoyed teaching her children and grandchildren how to bake. She was well known for her cookies and white cake. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Dianne is survived by her children: Stephanie (Polo) Jasso of Willmar, Brent Larcom and Joshua (Abby) Larcom of Kandiyohi; four granddaughters: Kendra (Joshua) Chukwuyem, Gabriella Jasso, Shelby Larcom and Libby Larcom; and two great-grandsons: Chinedu and Chimobi Chukwuyem. She is also survived by her siblings: Sandra (David) Lief of Mason City, IA, Pamela (Jerry) Gustafson of Chokio, and Kenton (Betty) Magnuson of Spicer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie; parents, Virgil and Lucille; mother-in-law, Marge Larcom; and step-father, Clarence Mahlow.
