Donald P. Oney

Donald P. Oney, 68 of New London formerly of Minneapolis, died on June 30, 2026 at the St. Cloud Hospital.  A Celebration of Life will be 1:00 pm Wednesday July 8, 2026 at the Johnson Funeral Home in New London.  Visitation will be a half hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Lebanon Cemetery in New London                            

Donald Paul Oney was born on November 28, 1957 at home in Coon Rapids, the son of Paul and Lucille (Calistro) Oney.  He attended Vocational High School in Minneapolis, graduating in 1976.  He made his home in Minneapolis where he worked in banking and later retail sales.  He retired in 2021 and moved New London in 2024 with his companion of 22 years, Kevin Combs. 

Don enjoyed cooking, thrifting, auctions and animals, especially his dogs. 

Don is survived by his companion, Kevin Combs; sisters, Paulette (Tom) Sobcinski and Toni (Masyuki) Inoue; and half-brother, John (Patricia) Oney.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mark
