Dorothy Binger-O'Donnell, 80, of Atwater, died Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
Her memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 8, at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Dorothy was born December 10, 1942, in Willmar, Minnesota, the daughter of Victor and Alvina (Strey) King. She was previously married to Duaine Binger and James O’Donnell. She worked at Willmar Cookie Company and for 20 years at Metro Mold and Design in Rogers. She lived most recently in Willmar and for the past 2½ years at Sunnyview in Atwater.
Dorothy enjoyed listening to country music, dancing, cooking, baking, puzzles, and playing scratch-off lottery tickets. She also enjoyed sewing and quilting. She loved to entertain and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by four children: Jeff (Maria) Binger, Diane (Dave) Pautzke, Dale Binger, and Danette Binger, twelve grandchildren: Rachel, Carmen, Veronica, Nick, Chastity, Jamie, Traci, Nichole, Joshua, Andrew, Ashley, and Alivia; and many great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother: Larry (Deb) Kvamso; two sisters: Betty Fischer and Carol (Curt) Schuck; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter: Denise Ost in 2014; and four brothers: George, Robert, Alton, and Harold.
