Edward T. Dozois

Edward T. Dozois, 62 of Willmar, died August 11, 2026 at the Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 20, 2026 at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar.  A celebration of life will follow from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Willmar American Legion.  Memorials may be directed to Hawk Creek Animal Shelter in Willmar.  

Edward Thomas Dozois Jr. lived his life the way he wanted. He was born to Carol and Ed Dozois Sr. in St. Paul and once he started moving, he never stopped. Ed moved through Henry Sibley High School, Minneapolis Vo-Tech and into the world of autobody repair. His skill and speediness earned him his nickname. If you could catch Fast Eddie, you would find out the depth of his heart, his devotion to his friends and his compassion for his family. The only time Ed would slow down was when he was striving for perfection in his craftsmanship. His attention to detail turned his bathrooms into works of art, kept his engines purring and his lawn consistent in length. The man could fix anything.

Cancer took a little bit of speed from Eddie in these last few years, but it never stopped him from caring about the people around him.

Ed leaves behind his devoted wife, Becky Moen and their fur babies Oscar and Millie. His parents, Carol Dozois and Ed Dozois Sr. are grieving his loss, along with his children, Matt, Taylor,  and Johnny Dozois; grandsons, Jackson and Gryffin and their mother, Bailey Nelson.  He had many close friends who were family and extended family who were also friends.
