Elias Constans, 39, of Adrian formerly of Willmar, died unexpectedly Saturday, September 21st at his home. There will be a visitation from 1-3:00 pm, Saturday, October 5th at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar with a service at 3:00 pm. www.hafh.org
Elias was born May 4, 1985, in Willmar, to Dave and Vicki (Bonnema) Constans. He attended Willmar Public Schools, graduating in 2004. He went on to lineman school at Minnesota West Technical School in Jackson. Elias moved to Worthington and worked for Nobles Cooperative where he earned his Journeyman’s license. He was currently employed by Loosbrock Digging Services.
Elias loved sports of all kinds, but hockey was his passion, which he played traveling and into high school.
Elias enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing. Some of his fondest memories were of duck hunting trips to North Dakota with his dad, brother, uncle and cousin. Oh, the stories they told when they got home.
He also coached Peewee Hockey in Worthington. He would help anyone learn how to skate and take a chance at the game. He was great with a pocket knife, whittling away and creating things from wood.
Elias was the best uncle. He adored his nieces and nephew and they adored him. He was amazing with kids.
Over the last couple of years, he’s been like a step-dad to Jackie’s kids, always making sure they were having a good time.
Elias is survived by his parents: Dave and Vicki Constans; siblings: Rich (Kristen) Constans, Tori (Sam) Lindemeier; nieces: Avery, Aspyn, Aisley; and nephew: Wyatt Lindemeier; fiancée, Jackie Barrett and her three children: Mylie, Ashtyn, and Keagan; several uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Dick and Rose Constans, and Edwin and Irene Bonnema.
Elias your big smile, big heart, and your goofy personality will be missed by many.
