Franklin Milner Obituary

Frank Milner, 65, of Willmar, died Tuesday, April 21st at his home. His visitation will be 5-7:00 pm, Friday, May 8th at Harvey Anderson & Johnson Funeral Home in Willmar. Military Honors will begin at 4:45 pm, Friday at the funeral home. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson & Johnson Funeral Home in Willmar, www.hafh.org 

 

Franklin Milner was born July 23, 1960, in Weiser, Idaho to Franklin and Mary (Martin) Milner. He grew up around Bosie, Idaho before joining the U.S. Marines where he was stationed in North Carolina. Frank was involved in Operation Desert Storm before moving back to North Carolina. During his time in North Carolina, he was united in marriage to Jean. They were blessed with two children: Abby and Holly. They later divorced.  Frank later moved to Minnesota where he met Lorraine Griffin. They were united in marriage on June 26, 2006, in Willmar.

Frank worked at Somody Supply in Willmar for several years before working at Papa Murphys for 20 years. Frank loved his job and took great pride in working there.

Frank enjoyed music, drumming, storytelling, and planting flowers. Frank had a way of being compassionate and truly cared for others.

Frank is survived by his wife, Lorraine; children: Abby Milner, Holly Milner, Josh (Veronica) Gassler, Amanda (Eric) Dahlheimer, and Zach Combs; mother and stepfather, Mary and Dean Nelson; 9 grandchildren; and siblings, Lorrie Milner, Kelly (Michael) Lanners, Russell Milner.

Frank is preceded in death by his dad, Franklin.
