Galen Rohloff, 69, of Willmar, died Sunday, September 12, at the St. Cloud Hospital.
His funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, September 20, at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Bethel Lutheran Cemetery in Willmar.
Galen Keith Rohloff was born September 24, 1951, in Appleton, Minnesota, the son of Melvin and Lucille (Giese) Rohloff. He grew up in Appleton and graduated from Appleton High School in 1969. He married Carol Meis and they lived in a number of communities around west central Minnesota, where Galen worked for several different implement dealers. They later divorced. Galen lived in Willmar for the past several years and retired from Haug Implement. In retirement, he continued working part-time in a variety of jobs, including at Wal-Mart and Advanced Auto.
Galen enjoyed the outdoors, boating, fishing, camping, going to the casino, and tinkering in his garage. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his five children: Tracy Rohloff of Granite Falls, Teresa Docken of Willmar, Timothy (Jennifer) Rohloff of Long Prairie, Thomas (Dawn) Rohloff of Sauk Centre, and Tammy (Brian) Swedal of Parkers Prairie; eighteen grandchildren; two brothers: Dean (Ramona) Rohloff and Delno (Marlys) Rohloff; four sisters: Rhoda (Ron) Peterson, Marlene (Leland) Bier, Deb (Larry) Schultz, and Janice (Kenny) Aeikens; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother: Jerry Rohloff.
