Gloria L. Sjogren

Gloria L. Sjogren, 83 of Belgrade, died Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the St. Cloud Hospital.  The Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. December 6, 2025, at Grace Lutheran Church in Belgrade where a visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be in Colfax Cemetery near New London. Arrangements are with the Johnson Funeral Home in Belgrade.                         

Gloria L Sjogren was born on March 27, 1942, in small historical community of Wasioja, MN.  

the youngest of 8 children to Harold and Lillian Phelps.  She attended country grade school and graduated from Dodge Center High School.  She married Donald Miller and had a daughter, Rashelle. They later divorced.  In 1988, she was united in marriage to Wally Sjogren. They made their home in St. Paul where she worked as a bookkeeper for Holiday Station Stores.  In retirement they moved to New London and later Belgrade. 

Gloria was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.  She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, gardening, reading and dancing with her honey, Wally. 

She is survived by her children, Heidi Randa and Scott (Laura) Sjogren; grandchildren, Joe (Nikki) Read, Miranda (Andy) Keim, Jeff Read, Rachel Randa, Jake Randa, Olivia (Lane) Mills and Elijah (Christine) Sjogren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marge and Marilyn and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Wally; Daughter, Rashelle Read, parents and siblings.
