Harvey Bergerson

Harvey Bergerson, 85, of Watkins, formerly of Belgrade, died Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Hilltop Health Care Center in Watkins, Minnesota.  His memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm, Thursday, April 10 at the Crow River Church in Belgrade.  Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church.  Arrangements are being made by the Johnson Funeral Home in Belgrade, Minnesota. www.hafh.org

Harvey Bergerson was born on August 2, 1939 in Belgrade, Minnesota to Joseph and Hannah Bergerson.  He grew up on a farm next to the Crow River Church where he was baptized and confirmed. He attended the Belgrade schools.  He spent much of his life living with family and living in several Adult Foster Care Facilities and most recently at the Hilltop Health Care Center in Watkins, Minnesota

Harvey is survived by one brother Wallace and his wife Betty of Vadnais Heights, Minnesota and one sister-in-law Ellen Bergerson of Des Moines, Iowa.  He was preceded in death by four siblings: one baby sister, Jeanette, Jane and Ellsworth.

Memorials may be directed to Crow River Cemetery, where Harvey helped take care of the grounds for many years.
