Jason Michael Miller, 49, of Raymond, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025. Visitation will be from 2 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home with a time of sharing to begin at 4:00 pm. A private burial will take place in Buffalo Lake Lutheran Cemetery, rural DeGraff, at a later date. www.hafh.org
Jason was born December 29, 1975, to Jerry and Jean (Toutges) Miller in Willmar. He resided in Raymond at the time of his death having lived in various locations such as the family farm south of Murdock, Kerkhoven, Clarkfield, as well as Smartsville, CA, and Reno, NV, throughout his life.
After moving back to MN, Jason worked in the ethanol industry at Granite Falls Energy and most recently at Bushmills Ethanol in Atwater. Jason was known for his work ethic and willingness to help when needed.
Jason wasn’t one of many words but had the biggest heart and loved spending time with family and friends. He especially loved spending time on the pontoon hanging out and fishing. Jason was always willing to help others and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his cat, Remi, daughter, Kelsey Miller of Willmar and her sister, Amanda Landin of Willmar; step-mother, Karol (Tjosaas) Miller; his sister, Nikki (Brian) Ilgen of Willmar; nieces, Cassandra and Kaitlin Ilgen; step-brother, Tony (Kim) Flannigan of Paynesville, step-sisters, Terri (Brad) Steffen of Pennock, and Tammy Meyer of Bellingham, WA, and family friend, Don Schwarz. In addition to his immediate family, Jason is also survived by his aunt and uncles: Rod (Barb) Miller of Raymond, Kathy (Jay) Rein of Murdock, Linda Korn of Holland, Eric Miller of Clara City, Mark (Kim) Miller of Clara City, Sandi (Tom) Gunter of Clara City, Chuck Anderson of Rice, and Joe Goblish of Vesta and many cousins.
Jason was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Miller and Jean Miller, grandparents, Merlin and Viola Miller, Michael and Myrtle (Wisch) Toutges, step-brother, Torrey Jacobson, uncle, Terry Miller and aunts, Wilma Lien, Betty Valentine, Leona (Bunny) Goblish and Nancy Anderson.
