Jeffrey Thomas Flynn, 68, formerly of Belgrade, died Tuesday, September 15 at the St. Cloud Hospital. His graveside service will be 1:00pm, Wednesday, September 23 at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Regal. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson & Johnson Funeral Home in Belgrade.
Jeffrey “Jeff” Flynn was born July 12, 1958, to Orville and Dorothy (Dunne) Flynn in Paynesville, Minnesota. He grew up in the Regal area, where he helped local farmers while attending Belgrade Public Schools. Jeff graduated in 1976 and went on to enlist in the U.S. Army, serving his country until 1979.
Following his military service, Jeff returned to the area and made his home in Belgrade. He began working at Elrosa Dairy before starting a new chapter in 1986 as a mechanic at NAPA in Belgrade. Jeff worked there until his retirement in 2018.
Jeff enjoyed spending time with his friends, especially hosting football get-togethers at his home, where everyone was always welcome. He also looked forward to fishing trips up north with friends, enjoying the time spent relaxing and being outdoors. Jeff was always proud of his military service and the time he spent serving his country.
Jeff is survived by his sisters, Kathleen Stein of Becker and Susan Maxwell of St. Cloud; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Dorothy; and his brothers, Patrick Flynn and Roman Flynn.
