Jody Kamholz, age 63, of Spicer, died Friday, September 25th at Carris Health Care Center and Therapy Suites in Willmar following a courageously fought battle with pancreatic cancer.
Her memorial service will be held outside, 2 pm Saturday, October 3rd at Faith Lutheran Church in Spicer. Interment will be in the church columbarium. There will be a visitation on Friday, October 2nd from 5-7 pm at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar. www.hafh.org. Jody Beth (Kaiser) Kamholz was born February 7, 1957, in Olivia, Minnesota, the daughter of LeRoy “Bud” and Betty (Hendrickson) Kaiser. She grew up in Danube, Minnesota and
graduated from Danube High School in 1975. Jody then attended the Willmar Vo-Tech and earned her degree in nursing. She worked as a loving and caring nurse for 40 years in a variety
of locations and retired in 2017 from ACMC Clinic in New London. Jody and her sons, Matthew and Michael Anderson, lived in Alexandria for many years. While in Alexandria, on
September 21, 1991, she married Tim Kamholz and together they added a daughter, Jenna Kamholz, into their family. The family then lived in Alexandria, Crookston, Sartell, and most
recently enjoying time with family and friends at their home on Nest Lake. Jody was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Spicer and enjoyed reading, quilting, gardening, canning salsa,
traveling, and baking, especially Christmas cookies (with the Carpenters Christmas blaring in the background).
She is survived by her loving husband: Tim Kamholz of Spicer, three children: Matthew (and Jacki) Anderson of Brandon, Michael (and Chelsea) Anderson of Spicer, and Jenna Kamholz of
Maple Grove; five grandchildren: Ava, Laney, Cameron, Will, and Blaire; a brother: Brent (and Joy) Kaiser; a sister: Allyson Laznicka; her beloved nieces and nephews; among other relatives
and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, (Bud and Betty), sister, Trudy Deitz, and brother-in-law, Tom Deitz.
