John E. Weber, Sr., 68, of Hawick, died Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the St. Cloud Hospital.
His celebration of life will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, at Green Roof Area Center in Paynesville. A private interment will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery near Hawick.
John Edward Weber, Sr., was born on August 8, 1957, in Paynesville, Minnesota, to Charles and Anna (Everson) Weber. He graduated from Paynesville High School in 1975 and went on to build his life.
John began turkey farming even before finishing high school. He dedicated many years to farming before later becoming an over-the-road truck driver, traveling coast to coast. He found great companionship on the road, often bringing his dogs along for the journey. In addition to trucking, John also spent time working in the septic business whenever his schedule allowed.
He had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, and spending time in nature. Montana held a special place in his heart, offering the kind of open spaces and natural beauty he truly appreciated. John was also known for his willingness to help others.
He is survived by children, Jessica (Phil) Carpenter of Marshall, John Jr. (Mellody) Weber of Hawick, Jackie (Devon) Reutzel of Belgrade, and Josh (Holly) Jannsen of Marion, TX; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Beth Tersteeg; nieces and nephews; special friend, Carla; and beloved dog, Agnes.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his dog, Joseph.
