June Johannah (Knoll) Oslund

June Oslund, age 94, of Lake Lillian, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at Central Minnesota Senior Care in Lake Lillian.

Private family services will be held.  Interment will be at East Lake Lillian Methodist Cemetery.  Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home, www.hafh.org.

June Johannah Oslund was born June 28, 1925, in Lake Lillian Township, Kandiyohi County, Minnesota, the daughter of Martin and Lela (Whitcomb) Knoll.  She attended Country School #105 and graduated from Atwater High School.

June married Clinton Oslund on April 18, 1946 at the Atwater Methodist parsonage in Atwater, Minnesota.  Clinton and June farmed for 36 years on a farm in Lake Elizabeth Township.  June was a wonderful cook and baker, which pleased Clinton and her children.  She enjoyed gardening, square dancing, and visiting with her neighbors and friends.  She enjoyed traveling both in the United States and internationally.  She was a past member of East Lake Lillian Methodist Church and Rosendale United Methodist Church, and a current member of the Willmar United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children: Carol Hable of Buffalo, MN, David (and Diane) Oslund of Atwater, MN, and Donald (and Jill) Oslund of Lake Lillian, MN; grandchildren: Julie (and David) Olson of Elk River, MN, Jeffrey Hable of Fort Collins, CO, Lacey (and Joe) Carlson of Lake Lillian, MN, and Lindsey (and Jake) Vacek of Hutchinson, MN; and great-grandchildren: Tyler Hable, Emma and Simon Olson,  Aaliyah and Peyton Oslund, Tessa Jo Carlson, and Luke, Lauren, and Claire Vacek.  Also surviving are a sister: Betty (and Gene) Kleinschmidt of Arizona; a brother: Martin (and Shirley) Knoll of Willmar, MN; a brother-in-law: Earl Youngkrantz of Lake Lillian, MN; a sister-in-law: Marvis Glick of Lakeville, MN; and other relatives and friends.

June was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Clinton in 1982; sisters: Buela Youngkrantz and Lela Mathews; a brother-in-law: Allen Mathews; and a great-granddaughter: Mya June Carlson.
