Justin Savage Jr, 23, of New London, died Monday, August 4 in California. His visitation will be 4:00 – 7:00 pm, Friday, October 10 at Johnson Funeral Home in Belgrade. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson & Johnson Funeral Home in Belgrade. www.hafh.org
Justin Savage Jr. was born on January 27, 2002, to Justin Savage and Heather (Holden) Goodall in St. Cloud, Minnesota. He grew up in Belgrade and attended Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Schools, graduating with the Class of 2020. Throughout high school, Justin was active in sports, participating in football, basketball, track, and golf.
During high school, Justin worked at Bayer Built in Belgrade, where he loaded trucks. After graduation, he spent two years at Factory Home Center in Paynesville, assisting with carpentry projects, and later worked at Burger King in Willmar. Justin moved to California in 2024.
Justin had a creative and adventurous spirit. He enjoyed drawing, playing video games, fishing, archery, and had a passion for cars.
He is survived by his parents, Heather (Darren) Goodall and Justin Savage; siblings: Lexi (Taylor) Grzybowski, Aly (Hunter) Meyer, Blake Goodall, Jozey Goodall, Carson Savage, and Elaina Goodall; niece, Haven; and nephew, Baylor. He is also survived by his grandparents: Tim Holden, Richard Savage, Don and Vicky Goodall, and Larry Thompson; aunts and uncles: Bryon (Lisa) Thompson, Jackie (Mike) Koenig, Heidi Holden, Matt Thompson, Pat (Christy) Savage, Nate (Ashley) Savage, Dan (Heather) Goodall, David (Pamela) Goodall; and many cousins.
Justin was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Michele Thompson and Diane Savage.
