Kate worked at Woodland Centers for over 20 years, where she enjoyed helping the most challenging patients.  Kate was working on her Doctorate in International Psychology at the Chicago School of Phycology when she got sick.

Kate enjoyed cooking and baking, especially cakes.  She was a wonderful host and enjoyed hosting gatherings for family and friends.  She loved shopping and had a great fashion sense.  Her family was very important to her and she enjoyed spending time with them.  Kate loved animals, especially cats and dogs. While growing up in Duluth, she enjoyed painting and going to the shore.

Surviving are her children: Kama (Mark) Glinsek-Kreynest of St. Paul, Simon (Sara) Glinsek of Willmar, Gigi Glinsek of Kandiyohi, Kai Glinsek of Minneapolis; and two grandchildren, Noelle and Nikolai; and her brother, George DeZiel of Hawaii; and other family and friends.
