Krista Marie Arends, 31, of Pennock, died Thursday, May 7th at her home with her family by her side, due to complications from Diabetes. Her memorial service will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 16th at Salem Covenant Church Cemetery in Pennock. Arrangements are with West Central Cremation Service. www.hafh.org
Krista Marie Arends was born on October 15, 1988, to Jeff Arends and Konnie Deklerk in Willmar. She was baptized on December 11, 1988, at Roseland Reformed Church and later confirmed on November 9, 1997, at Salem Covenant Church in Pennock. She attended elementary school at KMS and graduated in 2007 from MACCRAY High School. Krista worked at Burger King, REM, and also worked as a CNA and a Para. Her most recent and favorite job was being a stay at home mom. On September 4, 2016, Krista’s son, Jaiden, was born. He was the light of her life and she loved him dearly. Krista enjoyed playing volleyball, rollerblading, hunting, bonfires, and going to concerts and parades. She enjoyed spending summers at the cabin on Lake Florida and mostly enjoyed spending time with her son and loving family.
Krista is survived by her parents: Jeff Arends of Pennock and Konnie Deklerk of Redwood Falls; son, Jaiden Allan Stibbe; grandparents: Jim and Carol Arends of Kerkhoven, and Vera (Koenen) Pampuch of Clara City. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandpa, Richard Pampuch, cousins, and other loving friends and family.
