Linda June (Jacobson) Sluka, 70, formerly of Spicer, died Monday, January 15th at Bethesda Grand in Willmar. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Saturday, January 27th, from 1-4:00 pm at the Dethlefs Center in Spicer.  Cremation services only were provided by Harvey Anderson Funeral Home. wwwhafh.org

Linda was born September 9, 1953, in Milaca, the daughter of Bernard and Barbara (Gunn) Jacobson. She graduated from Milaca High School in 1971 and went on to cosmetology school and was a long-time beautician. For the past 20 years, she operated her shop from their home.

On September 19, 1997, Linda married Eddy Sluka.  Following their marriage, they lived in Spicer. She loved Eddy's three sons as her own, plus, she was a wonderful grandmother to their children.

Linda was multi-talented, loved to bake, sew, paint, knit and crochet. Making 100's of quilt tops for Faith Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, Eddy; stepsons: Tom of Spicer, Troy of St. Cloud, Tim (Amy) of Litchfield; grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Also surviving are six siblings: brothers, Leslie (MaryAnn) and Kevin; and sisters: Ethel Pratt, Marlene Adkins, Mary (Lynn) Klinghagen, Pamela (Ron) Malcolm; sisters-in-law, Marcia (Wilton) Paul, Mary (Corey) Zehnder; as well as other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Paul and Mark; mother-in-law, Lil Sluka; and four other in-laws.
