Lisa Norby-Miller, 61, of Spicer, died Wednesday, January 29. Her memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 28 at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Lisa was born August 15, 1963, in St. Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of Fred and Eileen (Rudningen) Norby. She grew up in Inver Grove Heights, moving to Spicer at age 15. She graduated from NLS High School in 1981.
She married Daniel Hanson in 1981 and they had two sons while making their home in Willmar. She was later married to Richard Hamstad (deceased 2016) living in Willmar and Spicer, enjoying gardening and lake life. Later, Lisa met Jesse Miller after moving to Las Vegas. They returned to Minnesota and were married October 12, 2011.
Lisa worked in food service, sales and business ownership, where she sold handmade willow furniture and other creations at a storefront in Spicer. She was always the brightest and most fun personality in the room. She had a knack for sewing, quilting, painting, interior design, fashion and retail sales.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Jesse Miller; two sons, Jesse (Lindsey) Hanson and grandchildren (Avey 8) , Liam (7), and Joseph (fiance Maya) Hanson; her mother: Eileen (Rudningen) Norby; a brother: Milan (Beth) Norby; a sister: Laureen (Larry) Larson; and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Norby; and a brother, Lowell Norby.
