Lorraine L. (Essendrup) Bohlsen

Lorraine L. Bohlsen, 98, of Willmar, died Friday, January 31st, at Bethesda Grand in Willmar.  Her funeral will be 1:00 pm, Sunday, February 9th at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar with visitation one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Raymond.  www.hafh.org

Lorraine Essendrup-Bohlsen was born October 18, 1926, to Raymond and Pearl Essendrup.  On January 31, 2025, God saw that she was tired, so he sent an Angel to take her by the hand to lead her to her eternal resting place.  

She is survived by her 9 children, Art (Nancy) Bohlsen, Larry Bohlsen, Linda (Doug) Johnson, JoAnn (Andy) Pregler, Norma Barrett, Leon (Dorothy) Bohlsen, Steven (Stacie) Bohlsen, Dorinda (Henry) Vloo and Scott Bohlsen.  In addition, she is survived her brother, Ray Jr. (Eileen) Essendrup, sister, Colleen Newman, and sister-in-law, Alice Essendrup.  She also has 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Pearl Essendrup, brothers, James (Margaret) , Jerald, Ervin, and Marlin Essendrup, sisters, Adline (Lambert) Steffens, Dorothy (Bob) Fransen, Verna (Richard) Aeikens, Bonita (Dale) Hanson and Arlene (Barney) Beers.  She also was preceded in death by a grandson, Dean Bohlsen, and great grandson, Charie Boike.
