Luella Ann Jenner, 81, of Willmar, died Tuesday, January 21st at Prairie Senior Cottages in Willmar. Her funeral will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 29th at Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 pm, Tuesday at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar and continue one hour prior to her service at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Lutheran Cemetery in Willmar. www.hafh.org
Luella Ann Jenner was born on January 28, 1938, to Fred and Christina (Oswald) Jenner in Hazelton, ND. She lost both of her parents at an early age and Luella and her twin sister, Louise, went to live with her aunt, Sara Jenner in Linton, ND. She attended school in Linton and started working at a Café with her sisters. She later moved to Willmar where Luella worked as a nurse at Rice Memorial Hospital. On October 9, 1965, Luella was united in marriage to Marlan Stegeman at Calvary Lutheran Church. They made their home in Willmar where they raised their three sons: Greg, Todd and Jason. After their marriage, she became a stay at home mom where she would baby sit many kids. Luella and Marlan would later divorce. She enjoyed gardening and baking, especially chocolate chip cookies. She also enjoyed watching the Twins, Vikings and her grandchildren’s sporting events. She also loved taking her great-grandson, Isaac, to Culvers for ice cream.
Luella is survived by her children: Greg Stegeman of Willmar, Todd (Amy) Stegeman of Albertville, Jason (Gerri) Stegeman of Prior Lake; grandchildren: Christina, Tyler, Matthew, MyKenzie, Olivia and Noah; and great-grandson, Isaac. She is also survived by her siblings: Sam Walker and Violet (Red) Andreson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings: Leo Walker, Reinold Walker, Ed Walker, Lavina Opp, Loretta Moser, and Louise Dees.
