Marc Dale Ritt

Marc Dale Ritt, 58, of New London, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2024, at St. Cloud Hospital. His funeral service will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, December 10, at Crow River Lutheran Church, rural Belgrade with visitation one hour prior to his service at the church. Marc will be laid to rest at Burbank Cemetery in New London. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson & Johnson Funeral Home in New London. www.hafh.org

Born on August 26, 1966, in Winfield, Illinois, Marc was the son of Wesley and Shirley (Lambert) Ritt. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith. Marc grew up in Illinois before moving to New London to finish high school. After graduating, he worked at Jennie-O for several years before spending the last 27 years as a welder/manager at ACE Group in Willmar.

Marc married Dawn Swanson on October 11, 1986, at Hope Presbyterian Church in Spicer, and together they had two sons, Bryan and Brandon. Marc had a passion for fishing, hunting, and demolition derbies. He also adored his dog, Roxy. Marc will be remembered for his kindness and willingness to help others.

He is survived by his sons, Bryan (Missy) of Osakis, and Brandon (Kenzie) of Spicer; as well as his grandsons: Aden and Odin; and a granddaughter expected in March. He is also survived by his brothers: John (Pat) Ritt and Chris Ritt; along with his nephew, Wesley Ritt; and niece, Julie Ritt.

Marc was preceded in death by his parents.
