Marlys Louise Odland, 82, of Willmar, died Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at Bethesda Grand in Willmar. Her memorial service will be at a later date. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar. www.hafh.org

Marlys Louise Odland was born on August 3, 1938, to Clarence and Agnes Gandrud in Sunburg. She attended high school in Sunburg. On September 2, 1955, Marlys was united in marriage to Kenneth Odland at Hope Lutheran Church in Sunburg. They made their home in Willmar where Marlys worked at the Super-8 Motel as a housekeeper.

Marlys is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Odland of Willmar; nieces: Patty Burchill of Crosby and Marcia Nordwell of Oregon; nephews: Steven Burchill of Baxter; and Ron Thorson of Hot Springs, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters: Solveig and Elaine.
