Myron Prekker, 64, of Clara City, passed away Monday, January 15th at CentraCare Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar. His funeral service will be at 1:00 pm, Friday, January 19, 2024, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Clara City. Visitation will be one hour prior to his service at the church. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Clara City, www.hafh.org
Myron was a lifelong resident of Clara City. Myron was born on August 26, 1959, to Leslie and Alvina Prekker. He grew up on the family farm north of Clara City. Myron loved living on the farm and riding on the tractor with his dad and on the combine bringing in the fall harvest. When Les and Alvina retired from farming, Myron and his parents traveled with their motor home across the United States. Myron also was a big sports fan, supporting his Vikings, Twins and Wild. He was a season ticket holder for the Willmar Stingers baseball.
Myron is survived by his brother Scott Prekker of Clara City, his brother and sister-in-law, Todd and Lori Prekker of Lubbock, Texas and a nephew and niece, Keenan Prekker of Maple Grove and Lindsay Prekker of Lubbock, Texas.
Myron was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents and a twin brother who died shortly after birth.
