Norma J. Froelich, 84 of Hawick, died Saturday, May 31, 2025 at the Paynesville Area Hospital in Paynesville. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday June 6, 2025 at the Hawick Community Church in Hawick. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Johnson Funeral Home in Paynesville and for one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will be in Roseville Cemetery in Hawick. Arrangements are with the Johnson Funeral Home in New London.
Norma Jeane Froelich was born on July 22, 1940 in Savanna, Illinois, the daughter of Norman and Helen (Munson) Clark. She grew up in rural Hawick, attended country grade school and graduated from Atwater High School. On May 18, 1959, she was united in marriage to John Froelich at St Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville. This union was blessed with two daughters and two sons. They made their home near Hawick where she worked as a homemaker and did various jobs including the Willmar Cookie Company and babysitting.
Norma enjoyed sewing, shopping at Fingerhut with her daughters, label refunding and collecting Avon products and porcelain dolls.
Norma is survived by her children, Clayton Froelich of Hawick, Brenda Froelich of Willmar, Kim Schwalbe of Hawick, and Bradley (Michele) Froelich of Kerkhoven; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and brother, Jack Clark. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents and brothers, Earl and Norman Clark.
