Patsy Mae Summerlet was born January 22, 1942, to Carroll and Nellie (Kuperus) Moen in Brooten. She grew up in Pennock and attended Willmar High School. On August 27, 1960, Pat was united in marriage to Orval Summerlet at East Lake Lillian Methodist Church. To this union five children were born: Richard, Brenda, Jodi, Jeffrey, and Monica. They lived in Pennock and Kerkhoven before moving to Arizona. During this time Pat worked as a waitress, bartender and also as a housewife. She loved spending time with her children. Orval started driving truck over the road and eventually Pat received her CDL so she could drive with him. They mostly stayed on the west coast but would always come back to Minnesota for Christmas. Pat enjoyed going on motorcycle trips. She and Orval would travel all over the United States and also into Canada. After living in Arizona, Pat and Orval decided to move back to Minnesota where Pat started working at Duininck Inc. where she worked as a flagger and operated the broom and roller. Most of all Pat enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving wife of 60 years, mother, grandma, great-grandma and friend.
Pat is survived by her husband: Orval Summerlet of Raymond; children: Richard (Katie) Summerlet of Maple Lake, Brenda (Fiancé, Reid) Morrison of Prescott, AZ, Jodi (Ardell) Tensen of Raymond and Monica Orwick of New London; 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Pete (Janet) Moen of Atwater.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Jeffrey Summerlet and brother, Jim (Penny) Moen.
