Paulette was born October 16, 1946, in Breckenridge, the daughter of Ralph and Lorain (Bohn) Worner. Paulette's journey through life was marked by her unwavering strength, compassion, and dedication to the well-being of others. She grew up in Great Bend, ND, and graduated from Wahpeton High School in Wahpeton. She continued her education at Concordia College – Moorhead, earning her bachelor’s degree in three years. Following graduation, she taught at Atwater, MN.
On June 29, 1968, she was united in marriage to Glenn Hentz in Great Bend. After she left teaching, she worked as a Business Administrative Manager in the mental health care industry at Woodland Centers, continuing her desire to help those in need. Glenn preceded her in death on October 18, 1994.
Paulette enjoyed traveling, visiting with others wherever she was in the world, cooking, baking and golfing. She was always concerned about others, and it was evident in everything she did and everywhere she went. She enjoyed a good pizza, beer and the occasional shopping trip. Paulette cherished the time she was able to spend with her parents on Ottertail Lake as well as winter breaks with them in Mesa, AZ.
Paulette adored her family above all else. She is survived by her daughter, Tana (Paul) Barney of Maple Grove; son, Tim Hentz of Willmar; and grandson, Sean Barney. Paulette's warmth and compassion were felt by all who knew her, and her spirit will continue to inspire those she touched throughout her life.
As we remember Paulette Ann Hentz, we take solace in the countless lives she enriched with her love and dedication. May her memory be a guiding light for us all as we navigate this world without her.
Paulette was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Lorain Worner.
