Peggy was born February 18, 1953, in Amarillo, Texas, the daughter of Robert Clatt and Joan (Lynghamer) Clatt. As an Air Force “brat,” she spent her childhood living in many places, including Texas, France, Germany, Minnesota, Arizona, and the Philippines, before eventually settling in Willmar, where she graduated from high school.

She graduated from Willmar Technical College with a degree in drafting and later moved to the Twin Cities, where her daughter Jayme was born. Peggy then relocated to Appleton, Minnesota, before eventually returning to Willmar. She enjoyed a long career at Prairie’s Edge Casino.
Peggy and Loren later reunited and shared many happy years together. They especially loved family camping trips to Games Lake with their children and grandchildren. Together, they attended their grandson’s hockey games, Windstock Music Festival, Vikings games on the Eagles bus, and many camping adventures with family and friends.
