Perry Lee Zuroff, 77, of Belgrade, passed away on Friday, December 6th, at Rice Hospital in Willmar. Private family services will be held. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson & Johnson Funeral Home in Willmar. For more information, visit www.hafh.org.

Perry was born on October 25, 1947, to Donald and Betty (Schwandt) Zuroff in Vernonia, Oregon. He grew up in Oregon before moving to Montana and later Alaska. Perry graduated from Kenai Central High School in Kenai, Alaska, in 1966, where he was involved in several activities including the math club, camera club, Future Homemakers of America club, pep club, and intramural basketball. After high school, Perry served as an Alaskan State Trooper. In 1971, he relocated to Minnesota, where he worked as a mechanic, first at Larry’s Rental in Paynesville and then starting his own business, Zuroff Repair. After retiring, Perry moved to Grove City and eventually settled in Belgrade.

Perry had a deep passion for fishing, his dog Smokey, and, above all, his family. He considered his many nieces and nephews as his own children and cherished his relationships with them.

Perry is survived by his nieces and nephews: TJ (Kym) Zuroff, Alan (Amanda) Zuroff, Amber (Jeremy) Torgerson, and Matt Zuroff; as well as 11 great-nieces and nephews and 2 great-great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Jerry Liestman, Tod Zuroff, and Margo Keating.
